On the 1st June, 2012 we will be celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at Newport School. All children and staff are invited to dress up in their best garden party attire.

Children will be learning about the Queen’s reign and the history of the royal family. You can read more about the Jubilee celebrations and events here…

Don’t forget that the local elections will take place in England on 3rd May 2012.

Our School and Nursery will be closed except for use as a polling station on that day.

Updated with detail yesterday  - our vacancy page can tell you about our latest teaching vacancies at Newport School.

We have advertised for a teacher to lead on mathematics, a EYFS teacher and also a post for someone with Newly Qualified Teacher status.

Our football team at Newport were runners-up in the recent finals.
