On February 12th 2009 we are holding a book and children's author event at the school for Year 6 children.

We will have authors such as Joe Layburn, Jonny Zucker and

Michaela Morgan working with Year 6 children in book workshops.

The children attending will all have free books to keep, written by the authors, and a Leyton Stories book bag to take home on the day.

Watch out for the event letters coming home soon.

Leyton Stories is a project to help us start a children's book group - based at our school and children centre.
