Free School Meals

The process for applying for Free School Meals has changed.

Parents no longer have to always show evidence of income.

 

Please see Nasir in the office, if you wish to apply for FSM

for your child or to find out more about this service.

Due to the budget restrictions Newport are looking at ways to be cost effective.  We would like to trial our weekly newsletter “Speak Easy” to be published on our website and notice boards only.

 

Parents/carers will be able to access the newsletter at...

www.newportschool.org.uk  or www.newportthelatest.org.uk

 

We are hoping to trial this from next week, the office will be happy

to note down any feedback and comments you have with

regards to this change.

Refugee Week

 

This week we have been looking at the book “Lost and Found” by Oliver Jeffers,

this explores the feeling of being a refugee.

 

We will be holding assemblies on

Friday 25th June.

Reception, Yr1, Yr 2 and Yr 3 at 9.15 and Yr 4, Yr 5 and Yr 6 at 10.00.

 

We look forward to seeing you and sharing

in the children’s learning.
